Celebrating Yourself

If there’s one thing we can’t get enough of, it’s a celebration. And if we’re being honest, it’s usually the smaller, more intimate types that truly get us excited. While life can be chaotic and full of to dos, we believe that taking the time to celebrate ourselves (and each other) is not only important, but beneficial to our well being. 

Although we’re always down to receive a gift (especially if it’s a surprise!), we also love the act of spoiling ourselves. I mean, who knows what’s on your Wish List better than you, right? Having both worked in the luxury jewelry industry for years, we often heard from women how they were waiting for their partner to gift them a piece of jewelry. They’d come and do the initial reconnaissance, then pass the info along and hope that little blue box would appear someday soon. 

Now, don’t get us wrong, there is a time and place for hints and gifts, but so often, we’d see that woman again only to find out their partner ignored their request or selected something else, leaving her disappointed and still yearning for the other piece.

We began to encourage our clients to treat themselves and saw the incredible shift within them. It was like giving them permission to buy their own jewelry on a random Tuesday was just what they needed. 

To some, it may seem frivolous but we beg to differ. The act of celebrating yourself can be as strategic as curating and collecting your wardrobe. Taking the time to figure out what you love, need, and actively want to work towards is responsible and avoids over consumption of things that may not be right for you. 

So what does celebrating yourself look like anyways? Our answer is, whatever you want it to. We have tons of fun celebratory ideas to share with you so stay tuned. For now, just know that you deserve to be celebrated and spoiled any day of the week, even a random Tuesday.
